What a no-go zone is
A no-go zone is a virtual exclusion area drawn inside the mower’s mapped property. It can protect flower beds, play equipment, temporary lawn repairs, ponds or other areas that should remain outside the mowing route.
Permanent and temporary zones
Some apps allow both permanent zones and temporary restrictions. Temporary zones are useful when a section of lawn is reseeded, when furniture is placed outside for a season or when construction changes the yard.
How accuracy is determined
The mower still relies on its underlying localization system to respect the zone. RTK, LiDAR, vision or fused positioning therefore affects how closely the machine can follow the virtual boundary.

Two mowers can both support virtual mapping but differ greatly in how many zones they allow, how easily they can be edited and whether exclusions can overlap with routes or mowing areas.
