Yardnetic is built around a simple principle: deep data should lead to simple, explainable buying decisions.
Independent product inclusion
Products are selected for coverage because they are relevant to the robot-mower market, not because a commission is available. Affiliate availability is tracked separately from editorial and technical product data.
Research-based product profiles
Unless a page explicitly says otherwise, Yardnetic product profiles are research-based analyses rather than hands-on reviews. We aim to verify core specifications against official manufacturer product pages, manuals, support documentation and market-specific sources.
US-first model verification
Yardnetic currently focuses on the United States market. Model names, capacities, SKUs, accessories and feature sets can differ by region, so US availability and model identity are tracked separately before a product is considered ready for public publication.
How specifications are handled
Manufacturer claims are stored as structured data and are not automatically treated as real-world performance guarantees. Where useful, Yardnetic separates concepts such as recommended versus maximum lawn area, working slope versus boundary slope, and manufacturer capacity claims versus effective throughput.
Scores, recommendations and uncertainty
Missing information is preferably shown as incomplete rather than guessed. Research-completeness indicators describe the state of Yardnetic’s data, not the quality of the mower itself. Where sources conflict, the discrepancy should be documented instead of silently selecting the most favorable number.
Product images
Yardnetic aims to use product imagery only where a documented usage basis exists, for example manufacturer media assets, approved affiliate creatives, explicit permission or original imagery. A publicly visible manufacturer image is not automatically treated as permission to copy and self-host it.
AI-assisted workflows
AI-assisted tools may be used to help structure research, draft or refine text, organize specifications and support editorial workflows. Product claims intended for publication should be grounded in identifiable sources, and AI output is not treated as an independent factual source.
Corrections and updates
Robot-mower products, firmware and manufacturer documentation change. If you spot a factual error or have a current official source that contradicts a Yardnetic entry, please contact user099@gmx.de. Material corrections should be incorporated when verified.
Commercial relationships
Any affiliate relationship, sponsored placement, supplied product or other material connection that could reasonably affect how readers interpret a recommendation should be disclosed. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
